Let’s face it – the rainy season is here and greatly unpredictable. The rains may fall any time of the day without notice. When it however not falling, the weather is clement as the heat is usually not beyond 30-32 degrees. A safe way to prepare is to have suitable clothes for both options as well as umbrellas just in case.
For all events, they shall be held in halls and ball rooms to avoid disruption by unexpected showers.
Cash withdrawal points (ATMs) are spread around the city but the closet is those of the Guaranty Trust Bank which is 3 minutes from the conference venue and they accept most debit cards.
Card payments are also widely accepted in most scandalized commercial establishment in the city.
General dress code in the conference is casual / smart casual. When participating the official programme, smart casual is preferred. In the Opening Ceremony and Gala dress code is formal. Some of the special and VIP events might also have dresscode smart/smart casual. For all parties during the conference, dress code is smart casual or party wears.
There are two (2) options to arrive in Abuja. It is either by road or air.
If you arrive by air, download the uber app if you don’t have one, request a uber taxi online (one of our sponsors for the event) and enjoy a discounted taxi fare to the conference venue from the NnamdiAzikwe Airport. Please note that uber taxi can only carry four (4) passengers at a time.
If you arrive by road, ask anyone for directions to the popular Apo Legislate Quarter, once you are here you are just few meters or minutes away from the conference hotel. Better still, request a uber taxi online to bring you to the conference venue. It is that simple!
Information desks shall be located at the conference venue. Information desks are to serve majorly as collection points of conference materials by registered participants. However, they can also serve as Registration points for those who did not register online. It begins on Tuesday afternoon at 2pm and is open as follows:
Please note that as majority of people will be arriving on Thursday, there may be some queues at the information/registration point. Just be patient as everyone will be attended in an orderly manner.

Please keep your badge with you throughout the event as it is the entrance ticket to every event during the conference – including Award Ceremony and Gala. If you lose your badge, you will have to re-register in order to get a new badge so please keep your badge safe.
