JCI NIGERIA TRAINS 2017 NATIONAL OFFICERS

Friday 16th and Saturday 17th of December were very busy days at the JCI Nigeria Secretariat No. 28 John Olugbo St,Off, Mojidi St, Toyin St, Ikeja, Lagos. On this day the 2016 Board of Directors and 2017 Board of Directors had their joint meeting to chart the way forward in 2017.

During the Joint meeting, 2016 President, JCIN Amb. Oyeyemi Olatunji appreciated members of the 2016 Board who have been outstanding in their performance. He urged 2017 Board members to take a cue from the activities of the members of the 2016 Board.

At the joint meeting, 2017 President, Richard Ojo unveiled the 2017 “Turning Point” agenda for members of the 2017 Board to key into. The agenda which is anchored on Values, Integrity and Friendship is aimed at revitalizing Local Organisations for Efficiency and Qualitative Impact.

Finally, the 2017 National President unveiled the National Flagship programs for 2017.

  • JCI NIGERIA 60TH Anniversary

 

Also taking place during the time period was the National Officers Training School for 2017 officers and Local Organization Presidents.

Training on “Art of Growth” at the Officers’ School, Kola Oshinowo, urged the Board not to allow themselves to be limited by design in any way and to always attempt to carry out projects that create real impact. He encouraged the board members to give their all in service of the National Organization.

Finally, JCI Senator Olumide Ajomale  (Headmaster), spoke on “Leadership, Great Teams and Financial Responsibility”. The Headmaster encouraged members of the 2017 Board to always Insipire, Influence and Motivate members of the National Organization, thereby display Leadership qualities.

JCI Sen. Ajomale , speaking on “Great Teams” highlighted the need for coorperation between and among members of the Board. He stated that it is only when each member complements the other will progress be made. He encouraged the Board to avoid Infighting but should rather synergize and always present a common front on issues.

Finally, JCI Sen. Ajomale urged the Board to be financially responsible in all their dealings.
