Profile: Iyiola Folayan(JCI Senator)

Professional Career
Iyiola Folayan, a graduate of Electrical Engineering University of Ilorin(2002). Started his professional career as a computer Engineer with General Data Engineering Services (SKANNET) Ibadan in 2004 and rose to be an Assistant Manager (Network Infrastructure) with GDES in 2007.
Joined VDT Communications Lagos in 2009 and became the Head Network Planning and Performance in 2011. Iyiola was seconded to Bitflux Communications as Program Manager in 2017 and recently promoted to be Chief Technical Officer, Bitflux Communications Limited. He has contributed immensely to human capital development and Internet Service delivery in recent years.

Iyiola Folayan has attended several trainings and conferences within and outside Nigeria. A Mikrotik Professional and Information Technology Library Certified with twelve (12) years’ experience in IP Engineering, a graduate of Senior Management programme from the Pan African University (Lagos Business School.). Masters Business Administration (MBA),  A member, Nigerian Society of Engineers.

JCI Career
Inducted into JCI Ibadan in 2005, Iyiola Served in various capacity in the Organisation, which includes, Chairman Internet Connectivity (2006), Chairman Convention Committee (2006), Director of Individual Opportunities (2007), Secretary General (2008), 2nd Vice President(2009), General Legal Counsel (2010), Director of International Affairs (2011), Executive Vice President (2012) Served as President JCI Ibadan(2013)  In 2014, Iyiola served as Chairman Internet Connectivity, JCI Nigeria. National Director of Training in 2015 and ended his JCI Carrier as National Treasurer in 2017.

Married to Aderonke and blessed with a son (Adedamola) and a daughter (Adejasola). Loves football, basketball, travelling and meeting people.
